We
like to see all patients on an appointment basis and request
that you call well in advance so that we can reserve time
especially for you. If you are unable to keep an appointment,
we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice. This courtesy
will allow us to schedule another patient in your cancelled
time slot. We will do our best to honor your scheduled appointment
time, but emergencies and deliveries can cause delays. We
will try to inform of such delays, whenever possible, before
you leave for your appointment.
Dr. Crandall does not participate with many insurance companies
because they have discounted our fees in some cases up to
60%. He has elected not to participate with Medicare or Medicaid
due to the enormous regulatory burden imposed by the government.
You may still see Dr. Crandall even if he is not a participating
provider with your insurance company ex Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Even if we are not participating, we will file your insurance
as a courtesy to you.
Depending on your insurance, you will be expected to pay
for a portion or all of your services at the time of your
visit. If you are a cash-paying patient we promise to offer
the best value for every healthcare dollar you invest.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and personal
checks.
Our Billing Manager is here to answer all your insurance
related questions and can work out special financial arrangements
when necessary.
