What
do I do in an emergency?
If an emergency medical situation arises during office hours
call us at (239) 596-2300, and your call will be put straight
through to someone who can help you. At night or during the
weekend, call (239) 596-2300. Our answering service will contact
the doctor and he will call you back as soon as possible with
instructions or where to go for immediate treatment if necessary.
What if I go into labor at night or over the weekend?
Babies generally don’t share their arrival plans with
us in advance so many are born outside of regular office hours.
If this is the case with you, call Birthplace at (239) 513-7724
and they will contact Dr. Crandall.
Do you recommend Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
for menopausal women?
Hormone replenishment therapy is essential for maintaining
the health of women and men. Recent poorly designed studies
have been misinterpreted to suggest otherwise in women. We
will be happy to discuss these studies as well as the risk
factors and benefits for you as an individual.
Can I call the office on the telephone with a question
or problem?
Yes, we not only accept telephone calls, we welcome them as
an opportunity to serve you better. We can refill prescriptions,
answer concerns you may have, and help determine when an office
visit is needed.
